The black hole

Stasi prison January 25, 1986

It’s a challenge to stay busy when you only have yourself.

Half of the time it’s pitch black dark, so there’s just me.

During the day there is a shine of light from the door.

Found a way to draw!

Rubbing off the wall whiting with shoe laces.

Using the laces like a brush and draw a chess board inside of my jacket.

Took me half a day to rip toilet paper into chess figures.

Played my first game against myself today.

The championship starts tomorrow.

This also helps to not fall asleep during the day.

I need to be as exhausted as I can be during the night.

Invented a set of exercises on the metal grid to get tired at night.

I can only workout after dinner.

I’m too weak during the day.

The black hole awaits.
