The pain

Stasi prison September 22, 1985

My arm keeps hurting like hell.

Sleepless nights because of the pain.

My numbers dropped to half of the target.

Went to the doctor this week.

He didn’t even look at it.

“Rest it after work.”

Got some stinking ointment.

It does exactly nothing.

I’ll end this shit.

As soon as my folks smuggle the money I’ll drop out of the work command.

They’ll lock me up in solitary confinement, it’s the default treatment for drop-out’s.

The money will help me to bribe some of the criminals who service the solitary cell block.

My folks will visit day after tomorrow, hope they’ll smuggle cash.

Will need a day or two to exchange the money with prison currency.

After some arrangements I’ll announce my strike by the end of the week.
